Formerly known as the GEC(Coventry) Photographic Society, we are a friendly society based in the Model Engineering Hut, at the Copsewood Sports and Social Club, off Allard Way, Coventry, CV3 1JP on Wednesday Evenings at 7:45pm. There are currently 23 members, making us the largest photographic club in the Coventry area.
We represent
a wide range of photographic interests from traditional darkroom techniques through to modern digital technology.
The society is affiliated to the Midland Counties Photographic Federation and is a member of the Mercia Group of Photographic Societies.
Quarterly competitions are open subjects for prints and slides. An annual cup is awarded to the overall winner.
The club enters external exhibitions, paying the postage or arranging the delivery and collection of work for these.

Although we are going through a transitional period at this time, having no room which we can call our own, we have access to studio lighting and backdrops, a digital projector and laptops loaned from our club members.
We also mount an annual exhibition of work by club members
and other photographers from around the UK which is to be held at the Stoneleigh Park Festival in August this year.
